Chooses CORE Interactive to Build a Smart Website
November 2, 2009— The Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce has selected CORE Interactive to create a “smart” Website.
Smart or “intelligent” Websites let organizations handle online all the details of coordinating an event, managing membership applications and renewals, back office functions and email broadcasting. Using a secure, automated system, The Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce will be able to e-mail upcoming event information to members and opt-in subscribers and update them with e-mail bulletins about the next events; allow members to apply online or sponsor an event; accept event registrations and payments; send confirmations, directions, program schedules and schedule changes to registrants; and print name tags and event attendee lists from the event registration database. Sponsorship details will also be handled automatically.
Registrants will easily be able to forward event information to their friends and later share photos and other media from the event. The smart Website, at www.nhpchamber.org, creates event archives where attendees can view photos from the event. The site also has a searchable member database that visitors can use to network with other members and find business resources.
